Reaching Contemplation is my Dream |
‘To have a healthy mind one must have a healthy body’, I have read in one of popular journal. Of course, yoga takes a lot of time in order to achieve perfectness but it is worth doing asanas. After having attended classes with my daughter, I noticed a great change in her behavior – she stopped arguing with me and tried to listen to my words. Any Mom wants her kids to be smart and intelligent – I am doing my best to see these features in my daughter. We have learned as much as possible about asanas – the poses seemed boring at first but it was not true. We need to catch Indian spirit while performing them – actually we need to raise our feelings to high level of contemplation and absorption. These exercises strengthen our body’s muscles; stretch the vertebras, joints mobility, and in addition, and perhaps, it is the main idea, they teach a man to watch the details around him, keep self-balance and concentrate thoughts on spiritual feelings. After doing asanas a man can be enriched greatly and discover unexpected and unique things. It is fantastic but I have found out that my husband is the most wonderful man in the world – I have seen him on the positive side. Indian spirit has embraced me in full. My husband is an engineer and works till night and I used to be angry with him when came back home late. It was yoga that made me patient and thoughtful and I began treat him in a different way. I try to ask him what is happening at work and how feels after a tiresome day. He was surprised at first but then answered the similar way. We are a very close and friendly family. Yoga helps me have much control over my movements and emotions. As far as my daughter concerned, she attends school classes with pleasure and her grades are becoming higher in comparison with those that they were before. She is going to be a journalist and asanas teach her patience and concentration. I should say that I am far from perfectness but the good beginning is half the battle. |
